Race day check-in will take place in transition area at Parc Omnisports Pierre Coulon. Transition area opens for athletes at 05.00 Sunday morning.

Only athletes and marshals will have access to transition area.

At registration you will receive a colored swim cap, a timing chip and a race number.
Please remember these items on race morning.

You may hand over your GREEN post race bag with your personal clothing to the designated area next swim start.

You are not permitted to leave your bicycle pump in the green, red or blue bags. If you do not use the pumps provided by the organizer (technical assistance), you will have to remove your personal bicycle pumps by the entries and exits authorized and leave them to someone you know outside transition.

Please note that it is not allowed to mark your bike with balloons or alike. The race marshals will remove such effects.

All athletes have to leave transition area and head to the swim start no later than 7.15. Failure to do so may cause at time penalty.
Please note that it will not be possible for single starters to check-in on race morning.

Race start: 7.00

The big moment has arrived and the 1st edition of Challenge Vichy is about to start. The race starts in waves after the following schedule:

Start CHALLENGE VICHY 7.00
One wave if less than 600 athletes. More than 600 athletes, 2nd wave at 7.10

Start HALF VICHY 8.00
One wave if less than 600 athletes. More than 600 athletes, 2nd wave at
8.10

Each start group must proceed to the “pre-start” area no later than 10 minutes before their group’s starting time. If an athlete misses his or her start wave, they will be able to leave when they want but their time will be calculated compared to their starting wave. The official swim cap shall be visible and “clean”. Stickers or other markings are not allowed on the swim cap. It is allowed to wear a personal swim cap underneath the official swim cap.
